Centre Appoints 1 Director & 4 Deputy Secretaries in Various Departments and Ministries

Five Directors/Deputy Secretary level appointments in Departments and Ministries. IPS Jatin Narwal (2006 Batch) has been selected by the government as Director in the Department of Sports, Delhi for four years.

Under the centre staffing scheme, the centre on Thursday recommended central deputation tenure for five officers from different services as Director/Deputy Secretary in various departments and ministries.

The names and appointments are:

  • 2006 Batch IPS officer Jatin Narwal (AGMUT) has been selected for appointment as Director in the Department of Sports, Delhi for a period of five years.
  • 2010 batch IRS officer Vikram Pagaria has been selected for appointment as Deputy Secretary in the National Health Authority, Delhi for a span of four years.
  • 2008 batch IAS officer has been selected for appointment as Deputy Secretary, National Health Authority, Delhi for a period of four years.
  • Ashish Kumar Saxena, IRSSE, 2011 batch officer has been selected for appointment as Deputy Secretary in the Government E-marketplace (GeM), Department of Commerce, Delhi for a period of four years.
  • Rohit Kumar, IIS 2009 batch, has been selected by the government for appointment as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Science and Technology, Delhi for a period of four years.
