The central government’s appointments Committee of the Cabinet has granted apex pay scale to four DG rank IPS officers serving at Centre.
These four officer name is given below
1987 batch IPS officer of AGMUT cadre, Mr. Mohammad Taj Hassan, DG, Fire Services, Civil Defence & Home Guards (retiring on December 31, 2023)
1987 batch IPS officer of AP cadre, Mr. Santosh Mehra, DG (Investigation), National Human Rights Commission (retiring on February 28, 2023)
1987 batch IPS officer of KL cadre, Mr. Arun Kumar Sinha, Director, Special Protection Group (retiring on May 31, 2023)
1987 batch IPS officer of WB cadre, Mr. Sanjay Chander, DG, Railway Protection Force (retiring on July 31, 2023).
