2013 batch IAS officer of Himachal Pradesh Cadre and DC Hamirpur, Ms Debasweta Banik is going on central deputation. She has got the green signal from the Center and now she will serve on the post of Deputy Secretary Personnel and Training in the Government of India.
The state government will soon appoint a new DC in Hamirpur, the home district of Chief Minister Sukhwinder Sukhu.
On the recommendation of the Departmental Promotion Committee, the Government has also promoted Superintending Engineer (SE) Mr Vikas Sood to the post of Chief Engineer. Now, he has been posted as Chief Engineer PMGSY (Pradhan Mantri Gramin Sadak Yojana) Shimla after promotion.
