In a recent meeting of the Board of Directors of Gujrat Gas Company, the announcement was made regarding the appointment of IAS officer Mr. Pankaj Kumar as Additional Director and Chairman of Gujrat Gas Company Ltd.
Mr. Pankaj Kumar is presently posted as Chief Secretary of Gujrat State. He is a senior IAS officer of the 1986 batch.
In addition to his responsibility as Chief Secretary of the State, he is also the Chairman of Gujrat State Petroleum Corporation Limited, Gujrat Alkalies & Chemicals Limited, Gujrat State Fertilizer & Chemical Ltd., Gujrat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals Ltd., Gujrat Maritime Board, and Chairman & Managing Director of Gujrat State Petronet Ltd.
In the past, he had served as Collector and DDO in Several Districts as well. He also served as Additional Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Gujrat.
