IRS-IT officer Mritunjaya Sharma has been appointed as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the President of India Droupadi Murmu. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Friday (10.03.2023), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Mr. Sharma to the post for a period up to 13.01.2027 (i.e. for the balance period of his five years central deputation tenure) or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
