IRSME officer of the 1981 batch, Mr. Suneet Sharma has been transferred and given the position of Chairman and CEO of Railway Board. Currently posted as the GM of Eastern Railway, Howrah, Mr. Sharma is a Special Class Railway Apprentice (SCRA).
He has, formerly, been also the DRM of Pune, Central Railway, Chief Rolling Stock Engineer (freight) and Chief Mechanical Engineer (Planning) of central railway and Principal Chief Mechanical Engineer inDiesel Locomotive works, Varanasi.
