Odisha: IAS Yamini Sarangi Will Pursue Her Masters In USA, State Govt Has Given Permission

She has been allowed to proceed on study leave for one year from July 1, 2022, onwards.

The State Government has allowed IAS officer Yamini Sarangi to go on education leave and pursue her masters. 2008 batch IAS officer of Odisha cadre, Yamini Sarangi is presently posted as an Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the General Administration Department. She has been allowed to proceed on study leave for one year from July 1, 2022, onwards.

She will be pursuing a Masters in Public Policy at Princeton University in New Jersey, USA. She was serving as the Managing Director of Odisha Medical State Medical Corporation Ltd.

A notification issued by the Government stated that the post of OSD to the GA Department has been declared equivalent in status and responsibility to the post of Additional Secretary.
