The Punjab government has appointed chairman of the planning board of 15 districts. The districts where chairman were appointed include Pathankot, Gurdaspur, Kapurthala, Hoshiarpur, Rupnagar, SAS Nagar, Sangrur, Malerkotla, Fatehgarh Sahib, Ludhiana, Barnala, Moga, Faridkot, Tarn Taran and Firozpur.
The name of the appointed Chairman are:
- Rohit Sayal as District Planning Committee – Pathankot
- Jagroop Singh Sekhwan as District Planning Committee – Gurdaspur
- Lalit Shaklani as District Planning Committee – Kapurthala
- Karamjeet Kaur as District Planning Committee – Hoshiarpur
- Harminder Dhane as District Planning Committee – Rupnagar
- Prabhjot Kaur as District Planning Committee – SAS Nagar
- Gurmail Singh as District Planning Committee – Sangrur
- Shakib Ali Raja as District Planning Committee – Malerkotla
- Ajay Libra as District Planning Committee – Fatehgarh Sahib
