Retired IAS Jyoti Arora of Haryana cadre and Hisar district advocate Pankaj Mehta will be the new State Information Commissioners. Along with the coalition government, both were also successful in becoming the choice of the opposition. As chairman, the CM held a meeting on Tuesday regarding the appointment of information commissioners at his residence. As no one objected to both of them, the names of other summoners were kept on hold.
They will be administered the oath of office and secrecy. Jyoti Arora’s husband Rajiv Arora is Additional Chief Secretary Home and Health in the Haryana Government. He has a good hold politically and administratively from Haryana to Delhi.
