Acting upon the tussle between the two IAS officers from Karnataka, the government has issued a transfer order in which Rohini Sindhuri (2009 batch) has been posted as Commissioner for Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments, and Shilpa Nag (2014 batch) has been appointed as Director for E-governance, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department.
The issues between the two were overlooked by Karnataka Chief Secretary P Ravi Kumar after he held a meeting in Mysuru regarding the Covid 19 preparedness. It is being said that over 100 page reports were submitted by both the IAS officers. Nag also wrote to the Chief Secretary over her resignation from the post of Mysore City Corporation (MCC) Commissioner, but he did not accept it.
