Rupjyoti Brahma Karjee appointed as Personal Secretary to Dr Rajkumar Ranjan Singh. Mr Ranjan is currently the Union Minister of Ministry of State for External Affairs. Rupjyoti is 2011 batch IFS officer.
According to the notification issued by Department of Personnel Training (DoPT) Mr Rupjyoti has been elevated to the level of Deputy Secretary. He is appointed for a period of 5 years with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post or on a co-terminus basis.
Mr Karjee comes from Bodo Tribe Community of Dotma, Kokrajhar and among very few administrative officers who cleared Civil Services Exam from this Tribal Community.
