The Tamil Nadu government has set up a single-member committee, under the leadership of retired IAS officer PWC Davidar, to conduct an investigation into smart city projects.
The single-member committee was constituted after Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin stated that an investigation would be conducted into the smart city projects.
The committee has been given the responsibility to submit the inquiry report to the government within three months from the date of taking charge.
