UPSC-2020 Cadre Allotment: Topper Shubham Got Home Cadre

Union Public Service Commission has allocated cadre for UPSC CSE-2020, topper Shubham Kumar gets Bihar cadre

UPSC CSE-2020 topper Shubham Kumar has been allotted home cadre, Bihar. He will now be posted in Bihar after the completion of his first-phase training at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), Mussoorie.

2021 batch IAS officer Shubham Kumar, a native of Katihar district in Bihar, has got home cadre, after which now Bihar will once again serve as UPSC topper and in the form of Shubham, the state got topper bureaucrat. Earlier, 1987 batch IAS officer Amir Subhani, a resident of Bihar, had topped the UPSC exam and got home cadre. Aamir Subhani is currently serving as the Chief Secretary.

Besides Shubham, another topper from Bihar Satyam Gandhi, AIR-10, got Maharashtra cadre. While Jagrati Awasthi from Madhya Pradesh, AIR-2 and Ankita Jain from Delhi, AIR-3, both got Uttar Pradesh cadre. Yash Jaluka from Jharkhand, who had achieved AIR-4, got Haryana cadre.

Other seven IAS officers who have been allotted Bihar cadre are Nisha (51st rank, Haryana), Shailja Pandey (61st rank, Uttarakhand), Shivakashi Dixit (64th rank, Uttar Pradesh), Apurva Tripathi (68th rank, Uttar Pradesh), Surya Pratap Singh (258th rank, Uttar Pradesh), Sara Ashraf (316th rank, Uttar Pradesh) and Akash Choudhary (322nd rank, Rajasthan).
