Uttar Pradesh: After IPS Officer’s Promotion, 18 DSP Will Be Promoted to The ASP Rank

PPS of the year 1992 batch, Habibul Hasan, Lallan Prasad and Dr. Manoj Kumar, have been promoted to the higher pay scale of ASP.

The UP government has promoted 18 Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) level officers of the Provincial Police Service to the post of Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP).

Along with this, another 48 ASPs and 32 DSPs have been promoted in higher pay scales. PPS of the year 1992 batch, Habibul Hasan, Lallan Prasad and Dr. Manoj Kumar, have been promoted to the higher pay scale of ASP. All the three ASPs were working in Special Category-I. Principal Secretary Home Sanjay Prasad issued all the promotion orders.

Based on the recommendation made in the meeting of the Departmental Selection Committee, the Home Department has issued an office order regarding the promotion of total 101 PPS officers. All have been promoted at their present place of posting. 18 DSPs of year 2007 batch working in senior pay scale have been promoted to the post of ASP. Among them Subodh Gautam, Naveen Kumar Singh, Alok Dubey, Ashok Kumar Yadav, Jaya Shandilya, Ankita Singh, Jitendra Kumar, Shyamdev, Shankar Prasad, Yogesh Kumar, Raghavendra Singh, Rajkumar, Manoj Kumar Yadav, Nripendra, Avnish Kumar, Akhand Pratap Singh, Virendra Kumar and Indu Siddharth are included.

Under another order issued by Principal Secretary Home, 24 officers working in ASP Special Category-II have been promoted to ASP Special Category-I and another 24 ASPs have been promoted to ASP Special Category-II. Along with this, 32 DSPs of the year 2015 batch have been promoted from ordinary pay scale to senior pay scale.
