On February 23rd, the Government of Telangana ordered a shake-up in the state bureaucracy. The District Collector of Siddipet, the 2011 batch IAS officer, Mr. Patil Prashant Jeevan, was instructed to assume office as the special secretary in the government’s Irrigation department.
Mr. Jeevan is getting substituted by the Additional Collector (local bodies) of Kamareddy, the 2017 batch IAS officer, Mr. Mikkilineni Manu Choudary. The principal secretary in the state’s Tourism department, IAS officer Ms. Shailaja Ramaiyer (1997 batch), was given full additional charge as the principal secretary of Endowments, by relieving senior bureaucrat Mr. Sunil Sharma.
The municipal commissioner of Greater Warangal, 2017 batch IAS officer, Mr. Rizwanbasha Shaik, was asked to assume office as the new DC in Jangaon by relieving IAS officer Ch. Shivalingaiah.
