B Sharath is a IAS officer. He was transferred within a month of being posted as Mysuru DM. Following which, he moved to CAT, Bengaluru.
IAS officer B Sharath must be reinstated as Mysuru deputy commissioner within a week, the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT), Bengaluru, told the Karnataka advocate general on Tuesday.
It is to be noted that Sharath had moved CAT in September for his premature transfer within a month of being posted as Mysuru DC. Rohini Sindhuri Dasari succeeded him.
Sharath was posted to Mysuru. Before joining Mysuru, he was DC in Kalaburagi. The Karnataka govt and people of Kalaburagi appreciated him for COVID-related initiatives. As per the records, Kalaburgi reported India’s first Covid death in March. Sharat took several initiatives and ensured oxygen beds for patients.Related Stories
