New Delhi: The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, approved the promotion and transfer of 10 officers in the grades of Principal Commissioner and Commissioner of Customs and Indirect Taxes. The orders are effective immediately, and officers are required to join their new postings by December 15, 2025.
Principal Commissioner-Level Promotions
- Pradip Kumar Suman (IRS-C&IT:1995) – posted to Chennai North GST and Central Excise.
- Harbinder Kaur Prasad (IRS-C&IT:1995) – posted to Kochi GST and Central Excise.
- S. Anantha Krishnan (IRS-C&IT:1995) – appointed as Director General, Systems and Data Management, Delhi.
- Upendra Singh Yadav (IRS-C&IT:1995) – appointed as Director General, Audit, Mumbai.
