CBIC: 29 IRS Officers Get Promotions and Key Postings Across GST and Central Excise Zones

New Delhi: The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, approved the promotions and new postings of 29 officers across various grades, including Additional Commissioner, Joint Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, and Assistant Commissioner. The changes are effective immediately.

Promotions and Postings at Additional Commissioner Level

• Sherin Angela Someetharan (IRS-C&IT:2009) – posted to Thiruvananthapuram GST and Central Excise Zone on return from deputation.
• Parag Karunakar Singh (IRS-C&IT:2009) – posted to Meerut GST and Central Excise Zone on return from deputation.
• Rajiv Kumar Singh (IRS-C&IT:2009) – posted to DGPM, Delhi, on promotion.
• Anu Agarwal (IRS-C&IT:2010) – posted to Delhi GST and Central Excise Zone on return from deputation.
