2011 batch IAS officer Rugved Milind Thakur has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Cabinet Secretariat. He belongs to Himachal Pradesh cadre.
He was currently posted as Director of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj-cum Ex-officio Special Secretary (Panchayati Raj) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh.
The Central Government on 20th of November, 2023, approved his appointment.
According to an order issued from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), he has been appointed to the post under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of four years with effect from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever event takes place earlier.
Mr Thakur also holds the additional charge as Managing Director of HP Power Transmission Corporation Limited.
