The Central Government has approved the Voluntary Retirement Application (VRS) of 2003 batch IAS officer Vikas Gothalwal. Information has been sent to the Uttar Pradesh government in this regard. The appointed department of the state will issue the order soon.
Vikas Gothalwal had gone abroad on academic leave on 13 September 2021. After this deadline was over, he applied for VRS. The state government had sought permission from the Center in this regard. The Center has approved his VRS.
