Raipur: In a significant administrative development, the Chhattisgarh state government has promoted 18 Tehsildars to the post of Deputy Collector. The promotions come as part of a broader effort to recognize exemplary service and strengthen the state’s administrative framework.
According to an official order issued by the General Administration Department, the promotions are based on the officers’ work experience and consistent performance. Among those elevated are Shashi Shekhar Mishra, Dushyant Kirtiman Koshle, and Aditya Kunjam.
Some of the promoted officers have also received new postings, with transfers involving key regions such as Bastar and Raipur. Officers currently stationed in Bastar have been reassigned to the capital, Raipur, reflecting strategic shifts in administrative planning.
Officials stated that new postings for the promoted Deputy Collectors will be finalized and announced shortly. The government expressed confidence that the newly promoted officers will fulfill their enhanced responsibilities with dedication and integrity.
