“This system is affordable, safe, and environmentally friendly. Along with reducing fuel costs, it will positively impact the income of common people.”

The City Gas Infrastructure Project complements this development strategy by supporting industrial growth, improving household energy access, and promoting sustainable urban mobility.
Positive Impact on Society and Environment
The introduction of PNG and CNG in the three districts is expected to:
- Reduce dependence on conventional fuels such as LPG cylinders and petrol/diesel
- Lower fuel costs for households, vehicle owners, and industries
- Contribute to cleaner air and a greener environment
- Support equitable development across urban and semi-urban areas
The project reinforces Chhattisgarh’s vision of inclusive growth, ensuring that all sections of society benefit from modern, sustainable energy infrastructure.
