The Cabinet has also taken a significant step to streamline food distribution for Antyodaya and priority category families in scheduled and MADA pocket areas. It has been decided that the two kg gram distributed monthly through the Public Distribution System (PDS) will now be procured through the NeML e-auction platform.
Beneficiaries who could not avail gram distribution from July to November 2025 will be compensated fully by December 2025. The procurement process will involve minimal transaction charges, ensuring better efficiency and transparency in the system.
Nava Raipur to Emerge as a New IT Hub
In a progressive move to strengthen the IT sector, the Cabinet has approved the allotment of 90 acres of land at concessional premium rates in Nava Raipur. This decision is aimed at attracting private investment, promoting the establishment of IT and ITeS industries, and generating large-scale employment opportunities.
The establishment of IT companies in Nava Raipur will not only create direct and indirect jobs but also accelerate urbanization and infrastructure development.
