Good News for Chhattisgarh. The number of IAS in Chhattisgarh cadre has been increased from 193 to 202. Previously in 2015, it was increased from 178 to 193. The Government of India has published it in the Gazette.

Earlier in 2016 there was a cadre review. At that time the cadre of IAS increased from 163 to 178. However, 29 posts of Collector have been found in this cadre review. In fact, when the proposal was made from here, the number of districts was 29 at that time. Out of 202, 44 posts are for Central Deputation. 40% of the total cadre posts are for deputation. The Government of India has published it in the Gazette on 14 February.
