Chhattisgarh : Three IAS officer Including Kanker Collector Shifted

In a recent administrative reshuffle, the Chhattisgarh Government has announced the transfer of three IAS officers. The order included IAS officer Abhijeet Singh, Nilesh Kshirsagar and Vasu Jain.

Mr. Abhijeet Singh who was previously serving as the Kanker Collector, has been appointed as the Special Secretary of the Home and Jail Department in the Ministry, a department he has experience in. Nilesh Kshirsagar, who held the position of Additional Chief Electoral Officer, will now assume the role of Kanker Collector.

Nilesh Kshirsagar, a 2011 batch IAS officer, has a rich background in administration, having served as the Collector of Jashpur and Mahasamund districts. Before this new appointment, he was posted in the Chief Electoral Officer’s office prior to the last assembly elections.

Additionally, Vasu Jain, a 2021 batch IAS officer, has been reassigned from his role as Sarangarh SDM to the position of Under Secretary in the Planning and Statistics Department in the Ministry.
