He highlighted the strong cultural connect between India and its diaspora, noting that the warmth of the Indian community in Barcelona reminded him of Ujjain.
Global Recognition under PM Narendra Modi’s Leadership
Dr. Yadav lauded Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi for significantly enhancing India’s international stature. He pointed out India’s remarkable achievement of supplying free ration to 80 crore people, attributing it to robust systems and national capacity. Praising the Indian diaspora, he said wherever Indians settle, they bring with them tradition, vibrancy, and harmony.
Investor-Friendly Reforms and Digital Processes
The Chief Minister said that all investment-related policies in Madhya Pradesh are tailored to investor needs, with procedures streamlined through digitalization and fast-track approvals. As an example, he shared that land was swiftly allotted to an investor in London immediately following an online application.
Health and Tourism Sector Incentives
Dr. Yadav announced that the state government will provide 25 acres of land for just Re. 1 to institutions willing to open medical colleges. This move aims to improve access to quality healthcare, especially in rural areas. Additionally, he revealed that hotel projects with investments up to Rs. 100 crore are eligible for a subsidy of up to Rs. 30 crore to boost tourism infrastructure in the state.
Opportunities in IT, Pharma, Agro, and Tourism
He highlighted significant investment opportunities in sectors such as IT, pharmaceuticals, agro-processing, and tourism. Efforts are underway to expand IT industries in smaller cities, aiming to create employment locally and reduce migration.
Major Expansion in Medical Education
Dr. Yadav stated that the state currently operates 37 medical colleges and aims to increase this number to 50 within the next two years. This initiative will provide more opportunities for medical education within the state and strengthen the healthcare sector.
Sustainable Energy Push for Farmers
To empower farmers and reduce dependence on traditional electricity, the government has decided to distribute over 3 lakh solar pumps. This will lower irrigation costs and promote clean energy.
Leadership in Agriculture and Food Processing
Madhya Pradesh has now surpassed Punjab in wheat production, the Chief Minister revealed. The establishment of food processing units and agri-clusters is expected to improve farmers’ incomes while accelerating agro-industrial growth.
Improved Emergency Health Services
The Chief Minister mentioned the successful implementation of the Rahveer Yojana, under which those assisting road accident victims are given an incentive of Rs. 25,000. He also spoke of the recently introduced air ambulance service, enhancing emergency response, and emphasized the impact of the Ayushman Bharat Yojana in providing free treatment up to Rs. 5 lakh to cardholders.
Bringing IT and Jobs to Smaller Cities
Dr. Yadav stressed that small towns are being integrated into the state’s technological growth. New IT initiatives are being set up to generate local employment and provide digital access to youth in remote areas.
