On the third day of his visit to Barcelona, Madhya Pradesh CM Dr. Mohan Yadav held a series of one-on-one meetings with top executives of prominent global companies to explore opportunities for investment, technical cooperation, and employment generation in the state. Companies from diverse sectors—including sanitaryware, textiles, health services, data centers, animation, branding, and media—expressed strong interest in the potential of Madhya Pradesh as an emerging investment hub.
Sanitaryware Giant Roca Group Commits to Expansion
Dr. Yadav began his day with a meeting with Mr. Pau Abello, Director of Corporate Operations at Roca Group, a leading Spanish sanitaryware manufacturer. The Chief Minister expressed satisfaction over the company’s investment of Rs. 164.03 crore through its unit ‘Roca Bathroom Products Pvt. Ltd.’ in Dewas, which currently employs 445 individuals. The company also shared its plans to further expand and diversify its operations in the state.
Textile Sector Boost Through Helotex Partnership
In a separate meeting with Mr. Jody Bonaro Diolart, CEO of Helotex Group, discussions focused on expanding textile industry collaboration. Helotex, which already partners with Indore-based Pratibha Syntex Ltd., expressed interest in scaling operations and simplifying the investment process in Madhya Pradesh.
Branding, AI Promotion & Media Ties with AMEC
Dr. Yadav met Mr. Alejandro Gallego Alcaide, Director of AMEC, to discuss strategies for global branding of Madhya Pradesh. The two sides agreed to cooperate on media analytics, AI-based promotion, and enhancing the international identity of the state.
Green Construction Technology Explored with SSL-Kotingya
In discussions with Mr. Jeef Vishepp of SSL-Kotingya (Power Soil), the Chief Minister reviewed the application of the eco-friendly road construction technology “Terra-3000°,” particularly beneficial for rural roads and hard soils. The technology, which reduces dependency on traditional construction materials, aligns with the state’s focus on sustainable development.
Home Appliances Expansion with SOGO Group
Dr. Yadav explored possibilities of expanding SOGO brand appliances in India through talks with Mr. Satish Raisinghani of the Sogo Group. The company, a European brand specializing in home electronics, is keen to expand in the Indian market, with a special focus on Madhya Pradesh.
MSME Empowerment through Servitise
Mr. Mark Winter, CEO of Servitise, discussed digital transformation and service-based business models aimed at improving the efficiency of small and medium enterprises in Madhya Pradesh. The company is interested in building partnerships that support industrial consulting and smart digital integration.
Football Development Partnership with SportsFun TV
In his meeting with Mr. Siddharth Tiwari, Co-Founder of SportsFun TV SL, Dr. Yadav discussed collaboration for football development in Madhya Pradesh through talent scouting, training camps, and academy establishments. The company is already working with the Jharkhand government and is eager to launch similar initiatives in the state.
