Bhopal/Dubai: Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Dr. Mohan Yadav, kicked off his official Dubai-Spain visit (July 13–19) with an impactful address to Indian diaspora and global investors in Dubai, showcasing Madhya Pradesh as one of India’s most investment-friendly and fastest-growing states.
Dubai: A Second Home for MP Residents
Speaking at the Friends of MP Interaction Session at JW Marriott Marquis Hotel in Dubai on July 13 evening, CM Yadav warmly called Dubai “a second mother” to many residents of Madhya Pradesh. He said the people of Madhya Pradesh have prospered in Dubai and now, through the government’s investor-friendly policies, the state is ready to return that support with full cooperation.
“Madhya Pradesh is progressing under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi. Our government offers a transparent, industry-centric policy ecosystem. Whether it’s speedy approvals or employment incentives, we ensure investors feel welcome,” the CM said.

Why Invest in Madhya Pradesh?
CM Yadav presented a strong investment pitch, highlighting:
- Single-window clearance system for industries
- Rs 5,000/month wage support per worker for employment-generating units
- Concessional electricity connections for industries
- Reduced paperwork and fast-tracked approvals
- 30 lakh crore worth of investment commitments through Global Investors Summit and Regional Industry Conclaves
“We want businessmen to enter the field, not get stuck in files,” CM Yadav added.

India’s Growth is Global Opportunity
Emphasizing India’s rapid growth under PM Modi, CM Yadav said India’s economy is moving forward with purpose and strength. He drew parallels between the entrepreneurial spirit of Indians abroad and diamond mining in Panna:
“Just as diamonds are found in Panna, MP’s real diamonds are in Dubai, building businesses and creating jobs.”
He cited India’s humanitarian contributions during COVID, the construction of 4 crore homes for the underprivileged, and free ration to 80 crore citizens, positioning India as not just a growing market but a moral global force.
Cultural Harmony & Diaspora Strength
Referencing the Swaminarayan temple in Dubai and the inclusive nature of Indian society, CM Yadav noted:
“Indians mix like sugar in milk and spread sweetness wherever they go.”
He acknowledged successful entrepreneurs like Naresh Bhavnani, originally from Mandsaur, who has established a major textile business in the UAE.
Showcasing MP’s Strengths
A short film on Madhya Pradesh tourism was screened at the event. Principal Secretary of Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion, Raghavendra Singh, highlighted that MP is India’s fastest-growing economy, and that 18 new investor-friendly policies have been introduced.
He reiterated that Rs 30 lakh crore worth of MoUs were signed at the Global Investors Summit in Bhopal, and that MP welcomes NRIs from UAE as its extended family.
