CMPDI Shines at Coal India’s 51st Foundation Day, Wins Awards for Best Drilling Camp and Employee Welfare

Kolkata: The Central Mine Planning and Design Institute Limited (CMPDI), a subsidiary of Coal India Limited (CIL), has been recognized for its exemplary contributions during the 51st CIL Foundation Day celebrations held at the CIL Corporate Office, Kolkata.

In the Corporate Level Award Category, CMPDI secured two prestigious awards that underscore its consistent performance and commitment to operational excellence, employee welfare, and organizational values.

Awards Recognize Excellence in Drilling and Employee Welfare

The Kusmunda Camp of CMPDI, RI-V, Bilaspur, received the “Best Drilling Camp” Award, acknowledging its outstanding performance, efficiency, and adherence to safety and quality standards in drilling operations.

Meanwhile, the Nagpur Colony Campus of CMPDI, RI-IV, Nagpur, was conferred the First Prize in “Employee Welfare & Swachh Colony”, recognizing its initiatives in maintaining a clean, sustainable, and employee-friendly living environment.

These awards reflect CMPDI’s dedication not only to technical excellence but also to promoting well-being and quality of life among its workforce.

The awards were presented by Sanoj Kumar Jha, Chairman (Additional Charge), Coal India Limited, during the formal ceremony in Kolkata.
