Ranchi: The Central Mine Planning and Design Institute Limited (CMPDIL) has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with WVS HOPE, Ranchi, to provide a dedicated Animal Rescue Ambulance under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative “Karuna”. The MoA was formalized at CMPDIL Headquarters in Ranchi and signed by Dr. Shishir Dutt, General Manager (HRD/CSR), CMPDIL, and Ms. Shalini Sinha, Treasurer, WVS HOPE.

The partnership aims to strengthen animal welfare, support public health, and advance humane stray dog population management in the Ranchi Municipal Area.

Dedicated Animal Rescue Ambulance to Enhance Public Health

Under CSR Project “Karuna,” CMPDIL will fund and support the deployment of a fully equipped Animal Rescue Ambulance. This mobile unit will enable WVS HOPE to respond quickly to calls from citizens, CMPDIL, the Ranchi Municipal Corporation, and other agencies, facilitating stray dog sterilization and anti-rabies vaccination drives.

The ambulance is designed to serve as a central hub for animal birth control, vaccination, and emergency response, ensuring timely and effective outreach across the city.
