New Delhi: Container Corporation of India Ltd. (CONCOR), a Navratna public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Railways, has announced the appointment of Mr. Ravi Prakash Chaturvedi to its senior management cadre as Group General Manager (C&O).
The absorption is effective retrospectively from January 7, 2026, following approval from the Competent Authority on January 19, 2026, as per the regulatory filing with the stock exchanges.
Senior Management Appointment
Mr. Ravi Prakash Chaturvedi has been formally absorbed into CONCOR’s senior management, reflecting the company’s ongoing adjustments to strengthen its leadership team. His appointment adds over 27 years of experience in Indian Railways to CONCOR’s operational and commercial functions.

Professional Background
Mr. Chaturvedi is an Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS) officer from the 1997-Exam/1998-Joining batch. Over his long career, he has worked across multiple domains, including:
- Railway operations management
- Commercial functions
- Safety management
- Vigilance
- General administration
His extensive experience positions him to contribute to CONCOR’s core business areas, including logistics, freight operations, and supply chain optimization.
Educational Qualifications
Mr. Chaturvedi is a graduate of Allahabad University and holds a Master of Business Laws (MBL) from the National Law School (NLS), Bangalore, equipping him with both technical and legal expertise for complex corporate and regulatory functions.
Regulatory Compliance & Notification
The appointment has been duly intimated to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE) under Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, which mandates disclosure of changes in senior management.
The effective absorption is retrospective to January 7, 2026, in accordance with the order issued by the Railway Board. The official notification was made public following approval by the Competent Authority on January 19, 2026.
