CONCOR Announces Board Change as Prabhas Dansana Ceases to Hold Office as Part-time Government Director

New Delhi: Container Corporation of India Ltd. (CONCOR), a Navratna CPSE and leading multi-modal logistics company, has officially announced changes in its Board of Directors. The update comes after Mr. Prabhas Dansana, who was serving as a Part-time Government Director on the CONCOR Board, relinquished his charge as the Principal Executive Director/Traffic Transportation (M) at the Railway Board, Ministry of Railways, effective February 17, 2026. As a result, Mr. Dansana ceases to hold the office of Part-time Government Director at CONCOR from the same date.

Prabhas Dansana’s Relinquishment of Role at Railway Board

Mr. Prabhas Dansana, an officer of the Indian Railway Traffic Service, held significant responsibilities in managing freight operations and transportation policies. He has had an extensive career across various railway divisions, including the South Eastern Railway, Eastern Railway, and the Northeast Frontier Railway. Additionally, he has contributed to Kolkata Metro and Container Corporation of India Ltd. (CONCOR).

In his previous role as Principal Executive Director (Traffic Transportation) at the Railway Board, Mr. Dansana was tasked with overseeing freight operations and related policies, ensuring smooth logistics operations across the Indian Railways network.

Impact on CONCOR’s Board Composition

CONCOR has officially communicated this update to the stock exchanges, confirming that Mr. Prabhas Dansana’s departure from the position of Part-time Government Director follows his cessation of duties at the Railway Board. As per the Ministry of Railways’ directive, his appointment at CONCOR was contingent upon his position at the Railway Board.

This change aligns with regulatory disclosure requirements and reflects the natural transition as Mr. Dansana has now relinquished his charge at the Railway Board. The cessation of his duties at both positions is expected to impact the composition of the CONCOR Board going forward.
