Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, Anil Baijal on Tuesday shifted eight IPS officers across the National Capital.
According to the order issued on Tuesday, the IPS 2003 batch Prem Nath has been promoted as Joint CP, Cyber Cell and Technology Cell.
“B K Singh has been promoted as Joint CP, Crime. Rajneesh Gupta ( IPS 2005 batch) has been appointed as Additional CP, Police Technology Cell while IPS 2008 batch, Ajay Krishna Sharma, has been given the charge of Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Police Technology Cell,” the order stated.
“Vijayanta Arya, (IPS 2009 batch) has been transferred to Economic Offence Wing while Additional DCP of West district, Sameer Sharma, the IPS 2011 batch has been given the charge of DCP, 1st Battalion,” the order stated. “Usha Rangnani ( 2011 batch IPS) has been given the charge of DCP, Northwest. Prashant Priya Gautam of the 2013 batch IPS has been transferred as Additional DCP, West district,” the order further stated. Sameer Sharma of 2013 batch IPS has been sent to the 1st Delhi Armed Police battalion as DCP, the order stated.
