Dehradun: The Uttarakhand government has launched a new digital portal to facilitate access to welfare schemes and released a long-term development roadmap for the state up to 2047.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the Devbhoomi Parivar Portal and released the Viksit Uttarakhand Vision-2047 document at the Mukhyasevak Sadan in the Chief Minister’s Camp Office on Monday.

Dhami said the two initiatives would contribute to strengthening governance and providing a clear direction for the state’s development.

Devbhoomi Parivar Portal to Facilitate Access to Government Schemes

Explaining the need for the portal, the Chief Minister said the success of government programmes depended not only on their formulation but also on ensuring that eligible beneficiaries received their intended benefits.

He observed that people sometimes miss out on welfare schemes because they are unaware of the available provisions. Citizens may also have to submit the same documents repeatedly and visit different government departments to access services.

The Devbhoomi Parivar Portal is intended to address these difficulties by making the delivery of government schemes simpler and more accessible for eligible families.

According to Dhami, the initiative seeks to make public services more transparent, convenient and citizen-centric.

Viksit Uttarakhand Vision-2047 Sets Targets Based on 440 Indicators

Alongside the portal launch, Dhami released the Viksit Uttarakhand Vision-2047 document, outlining development goals for the state up to the year 2047.

The roadmap identifies targets based on approximately 440 indicators, providing a framework for assessing and guiding development across different areas.

The Chief Minister said Uttarakhand would play an important role in fulfilling the national vision of Viksit Bharat.

Two Initiatives Focused on Governance and Long-Term Development

The launch of the Devbhoomi Parivar Portal and the release of Vision-2047 represent two separate initiatives announced at the same event.

While the portal focuses on improving access to government welfare schemes for eligible families, the vision document sets out development targets for Uttarakhand based on a defined set of indicators.

Dhami said both initiatives would support the state’s efforts to strengthen governance and advance its development objectives.
