NTPC Limited’s Director (Operations) Ravindra Kumar and Executive Director (OS) Subhra Kumar Ghosh paid a visit to NTPC Mouda to conduct a complete quarterly performance and station review. The evaluation, which included both Q3 and Q4, was performed with a focus on operational excellence.
The review session concentrated on difficulties and challenges confronting the Mouda plant. Director (Operations) provided excellent insights and suggestions for improving the overall efficiency of the Mouda Super Thermal Power Station. Aside from conducting performance assessment sessions, he also investigated previous safety incidents at Mouda.
During the tour, the Director of Operations inspected the CHP Control Room, as well as the Stage 1 and Stage 2 Control Rooms. Following the visits, the Station Review was held, followed by interactive discussions with Integrated Desk Engineers, Unions and Associations, and Young Executives.
As part of the operational evaluation, the actual operation of the Fire Protection System of Conveyor 3B was tested on a sample basis using bursting QBD.
Head of Project (NTPC Mouda) KMK Prusty, GM (O&M) Subhashish Guha, GM (Maintenance) Harekrushna Jena, GM (Project) Pradeep B. Paranjape, and AGM (OS) Vanjari Adisesha Surendra attended the visit. RED WR1 &SR, as well as the GM (Safety), attended the review meeting in teams.
