New Delhi: In a key administrative development, the Government of India has made two senior-level appointments in the Tribal Co-operative Marketing Development Federation of India (TRIFED), which functions under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs. The appointments were announced through orders issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Wednesday.
Vikas Raizada Appointed Deputy General Manager, TRIFED (UT-North Region)
Vikas Raizada (IOFS:2012) has been appointed as Deputy General Manager, TRIFED, Chandigarh (UT-North).
According to the order, the competent authority has approved his appointment to the post — categorized as a Non-Central Secretariat Service (Non-CSS) position — for a combined tenure of four years, up to November 5, 2026.
The tenure includes his prior periods of ex-cadre deputation and Non-CSS deputation, or will continue until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Monika Appointed Senior Manager, TRIFED (Rajasthan Region)
In a separate order, Monika (ISS:2015) has been appointed as Senior Manager, TRIFED, Jaipur (Rajasthan Region).
She will serve on a deputation basis under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs for a four-year tenure from the date of assuming charge of the post, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
The post is also categorized as a Non-CSS position within TRIFED.
