In a recent development, two IAS officers of AGMUT and Odisha cadre has been appointed as Private Secretaries to Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and Jual Oram. The names of the officers are:
2011 batch IAS officer Sandeep Kumar Singh of AGMUT cadre, who is presently posted as Deputy Secretary, Department of Cooperation, under the Central Staffing Scheme on a lateral shift basis, is appointed as the Private Secretary to Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Minister for Culture & Tourism in the Ministry of Culture, at the level of Deputy Secretary for a tenure up to September 30, 2025.
2013 batch IAS officer Dr Gavali Parag Harshad of Odisha cadre is appointed as Private Secretary to Jual Oram, Minister for Tribal Affairs , in the Ministry of Minister for Tribal Affairs , Public Grievances and Pensions, at the level of Deputy Secretary for a period of five years
