ECIL and DVC Sign MoU to Strengthen Security Infrastructure and Digital Solutions in Power Sector

Strategic partnership between Electronics Corporation of India Limited and Damodar Valley Corporation aims to enhance security systems, enable digitization, and promote technology integration across critical operations

New Delhi: In a move aimed at strengthening national security infrastructure and promoting digital transformation, Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL) and Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on October 7, 2025, in New Delhi. The MoU focuses on the implementation of technological solutions in the field of security projects and emerging digital systems.

The MoU exchange took place between Dr. Anesh Kumar Sharma, OS, Director (Technical), ECIL, and Mr. S. Suresh Kumar, IAS, Chairman, DVC. The MoU was officially signed by Cmde. Neeraj Uday, General Manager, HSS, ECIL, and Mr. Neeraj Jain, Senior General Manager (C&I), DVC, Kolkata. Senior officials including Mr. Santhaiah K., Head, SSPD, ECIL and others from both organizations were also present at the event.

Focus on Security and Digital Innovation

The collaboration aims to leverage the strengths of both organizations to develop and scale state-of-the-art security systems and innovative digital solutions. The MoU will facilitate the sharing of experiences, best practices, and technical know-how between ECIL and DVC to enhance operational efficiency, resilience, and digital readiness.

  • Enhancing ease of doing business

  • Collaborative development of emerging digital solutions

DVC, under the Ministry of Power, Government of India, plays a critical role in power generation and distribution, and operates across the states of Jharkhand and West Bengal.
