New Delhi: Eastern Coalfields Limited (ECL) on January 14, 2026, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with HLL Life Care Limited to establish AMRIT Pharmacy retail outlets within its operational areas. The collaboration marks a significant step towards improving access to quality and affordable healthcare for ECL employees, their families and local communities residing in coalfield regions.
The initiative is aligned with ECL’s ongoing commitment to employee welfare and community healthcare, particularly in remote and industrial areas where access to affordable medicines often remains a challenge.
AMRIT Pharmacy Outlets at Key Hospital Locations
Under the agreement, AMRIT Pharmacy outlets will initially be set up at three strategic locations—Central Hospital, Kalla; Sanctoria Hospital; and the Rajmahal Area. These outlets will offer quality medicines at discounted rates, ensuring affordable treatment options for beneficiaries.
