Mysuru: Retired IPS officer K.T. Balakrishna has been elected as the Chairman and Senior Steward of the Mysore Race Club (MRC) Ltd. for the official year 2025-26, during the Managing Committee meeting held on Monday.
New Team for Mysore Race Club
Alongside K.T. Balakrishna, the committee elected B.U. Chengappa, K.M. Chandre Gowda, and Y.P. Udaya Shankar as stewards. Additionally, Rakesh Vijaykumar and L.N. Nataraj were elected as committee members, according to a press release issued by MRC Secretary and CEO N.H.S. Mani.

About K.T. Balakrishna
K.T. Balakrishna is a retired Indian Police Service officer of the 2006 batch (SPS 2005), Karnataka cadre. He retired on February 28, 2020, after a distinguished career in the state police, holding several key postings.
