Former IAS officer TVSN Prasad and academic Sitharamam Kakarla have been appointed as professors at NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad. The two distinguished professionals will contribute to teaching and research in law, human rights, and public policy, enhancing the university’s academic offerings.
NALSAR Vice-Chancellor Srikrishna Deva Rao expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “These two appointments add great value to the academic world of NALSAR, especially in the areas of teaching and research in law, human rights, and public policy in the coming years.”
TVSN Prasad, who previously served as the Chief Secretary of Haryana, brings over 37 years of experience across various sectors, including the World Bank, public administration, and the private sector. He has joined NALSAR as a professor specializing in economics and public policy.
Sitharamam Kakarla, with an LLM in Human Rights Law from the University of Nottingham, will focus on teaching human rights law, further strengthening the university’s expertise in this critical area.
