Between 2011 and 2014, he was on deputation to the Centre as Joint Secretary in the Union Ministry of Power.
Key Roles in Power, Revenue and Water Resources
From 2014 to 2019, he worked closely with the Chief Minister as Secretary and later Principal Secretary. He also held the influential post of Chief Commissioner of Land Administration for more than two years.
Following the change in government, Sai Prasad was appointed Special Chief Secretary in the Water Resources Department and was later given additional charge of the Revenue Department.
With over three decades of administrative experience across sectors and regions, Sai Prasad now steps into the state’s top bureaucratic position, bringing with him a reputation for diligence, accessibility, and a people-first approach to governance.
