Half Day Declared by Central Government On January 22, in Celebration of the Ram Temple Consecration

All the central institutions and and government offices will be closed till 2:30 PM on January 22, 2024

The Central Government has ordered a half-day closure till 2:30 p.m. on January 22, 2024, at all Central Government offices, Central institutions, and Central industrial facilities in India in honor of Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha.

The order says, the Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha at Ayodhya will be celebrated on 22 January, 2024 across India. To enable employees to participate in the celebrations, it has been decided that all Central Government Offices, Central Institutions and Central Industrial Establishments throughout India will be closed for half day till 1430 hours on 22 January, 2024. 

It is also advised that all Ministries/Departments of Government of India may bring the above decision to the notice of all concerned.
