Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Mr. Vishnu Deo Sai took to social media to thank the central government, stating,

“Heartfelt gratitude to Modi ji and Nirmala Sitharaman ji. This amount will give new impetus to our state’s development.”

He added that the amount will be strategically utilized to enhance rural infrastructure, health services, and education facilities, thereby improving quality of life and employment opportunities in the state.

Mr. Sai outlined the sectors where the funds will be channeled, emphasizing a focus on:

  • Road construction and rural connectivity

  • Health and education improvement
  • Welfare schemes for tribal communities

The Chief Minister highlighted that these areas are critical to bridging development gaps in remote and underprivileged regions of Chhattisgarh.

Double-Engine Government Driving Growth

Mr. Sai referred to the Centre–State synergy as the power of the “double engine government,” stating that this model is enabling Chhattisgarh to scale new heights of growth and governance. He said the state is now witnessing a visible shift in speed and scale of development due to robust financial backing and effective administration.
