Ujjain: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav reaffirmed his government’s unwavering commitment to women’s empowerment and welfare by announcing a series of impactful schemes at a state-level program held in Gram Panchayat Nalwa, Ujjain. The program was organized to distribute financial aid to Ladli Behna Yojana beneficiaries and other welfare schemes.
Massive Financial Aid Transferred to Sisters’ Accounts
In a significant financial outreach, Rs 1543.16 crore was transferred as the 26th installment under the Ladli Behna Yojana to the bank accounts of 1.27 crore sisters across Madhya Pradesh. Additionally, Rs 46.34 crore in Ujjwala Yojana LPG subsidy was transferred to 30 lakh women, and Rs 340 crore was disbursed to 56.74 lakh social security pensioners.

Shagun Before Rakhi and Enhanced Monthly Aid
In a heartfelt gesture ahead of Raksha Bandhan (August 9), CM Dr. Yadav announced a Rs 250 ‘shagun’ bonus for all Ladli sisters. From Diwali to Bhai Dooj, the monthly assistance amount under the Ladli Behna Yojana will increase from Rs 1250 to Rs 1500. He also reiterated the long-term goal of raising this amount to Rs 3000 per month.
Assurance of Pucca Houses and Land Rights to Women
Highlighting women’s economic empowerment, Dr. Yadav pledged to build pucca houses for every Ladli sister. He noted that over 4 crore houses constructed under the PM Awas Yojana are being registered in women’s names, securing their rightful place in society and property.
Dairy Boost & Agricultural Support for Rural Women
To enhance rural livelihoods, the government is actively promoting dairy through schemes like Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Kamdhenu Yojana, under which milk will be procured via cooperatives. The CM announced plans to increase the state’s share in milk production from 9% to 20%.
Moreover, farmers will be provided solar pumps with 90% subsidy under the Pradhan Mantri Krishak Mitra Surya Yojana, supporting the mission of “Har Khet Ko Pani, Har Haath Ko Kaam”.
Healthcare Boost with Heli Service and ‘Rahveer Yojana’
Dr. Yadav highlighted the heli-ambulance and air ambulance services to improve emergency care access for rural populations. He also promoted ‘Rahveer Yojana’, offering Rs 25,000 to citizens who help accident victims reach hospitals within the golden hour.

Road Connectivity to All Majra-Tolas
The CM committed to expanding road infrastructure by building paved roads to every Majra-Tola in the state, building upon the legacy of former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s rural road campaign.
Cultural Harmony and Festival Celebrations
Dr. Yadav stated that the government will celebrate traditional festivals like Janmashtami, Dussehra, Diwali, Bhaidooj, and Shastra Poojan with grandeur. He also pledged enhanced political representation for women in coming years, including reservation in Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha, and State Assemblies.
An Emotional Gesture: Sisters Tie Rakhi to CM
During the event, Ladli sisters tied rakhis to the Chief Minister in a heartwarming ceremony. A giant rakhi was also presented, symbolizing the trust and affection between the state’s leadership and its women.
