As a major aspect of Independence Day festivities 2020, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting along with National Film Development Corporation (NFDC) had conducted an Online Short Film Contest to instill a patriotic spirit amongst all during this year’s Independence Day.
The contest went live on fourteenth July 2020 on the MyGov website and finished on seventh August 2020.
The topic for the short film entries was patriotism and Atmanirbharta i.e. self-reliance as the new mantra of progress for the country. The Ministry today announced the winners of this contest. 11 people have been given awards in different categories while Ajit Pal has been adjust the best entry for his film Am I?
Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting Mr. Prakash Javadekar, complimented the winners of the competition and expressed gratitude toward all the members for their commitment and making the short film contest a thundering achievement.
