Chandigarh: The Haryana government has recently taken a significant step in bolstering its administrative machinery by assigning seven new Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers of the 2023 batch to key Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) positions across the state. According to an official directive issued by Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi, these officers will officially take over their respective responsibilities as soon as they complete their foundational training at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA) in Mussoorie.
IAS Officers to Strengthen District Administration
The IAS officers selected for these important administrative roles include Ankita Panwar, Anirudh Yadav, Abhinav Siwach, Akash Sharma, Kanika Goyal, Yogesh Saini, and Ravi Meena. Their appointments reflect the government’s ongoing commitment to effective governance and streamlined administration at the grassroots level.

Ankita Panwar will serve as the SDM of Nuh.
Anirudh Yadav has been appointed as the SDM of Narnaul, in addition to handling the roles of Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Deputy Managing Director of Haryana Multi Modal Logistics Hub Project Limited.
- Abhinav Siwach has been designated as the SDM of Pehowa.
- Akash Sharma will take charge as SDM of Tohana.
- Kanika Goyal will be the SDM of Mahendragarh.
- Yogesh Saini has been posted as the SDM of Charkhi Dadri.
- Ravi Meena will assume the role of SDM in Tosham.
Training at LBSNAA: Preparing Officers for Administrative Challenges
All seven officers are currently undergoing mandatory training at LBSNAA, the premier administrative training institute of India, located in Mussoorie. The training equips IAS officers with essential administrative skills, knowledge of governance, law and order management, and other vital aspects necessary to effectively serve in their future roles.
Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi emphasized the importance of this transition, noting that the officers will assume charge immediately upon completing their training, marking the beginning of their field responsibilities in Haryana.
