Chandigarh: In a major administrative exercise, the Haryana government has issued transfer and promotion orders for 22 police officers, including 18 IPS officers and 4 HPS officers, bringing significant changes across the state’s police leadership structure.

The reshuffle includes fresh appointments to key posts such as Police Commissioners, DIG-level assignments, district policing positions, commandant roles, and specialised wings including cyber policing, narcotics control, and forensic administration.

The orders were issued on March 19, 2026, and are being seen as one of the most significant police administrative adjustments in recent months.

New Police Commissioners Appointed in Panchkula and Jhajjar

Among the most prominent appointments, Sivas Kaviraj has been promoted and posted as Police Commissioner, Panchkula.

Dr. Rajshri Singh has been appointed Police Commissioner, Jhajjar.

These appointments place both officers in key urban policing roles at a time when administrative focus remains high on law and order management and urban security.

This assignment adds forensic leadership responsibility to her existing administrative role.

DIG-Level Changes Across Panchkula, Rohtak and Crime Branch

  • Abhishek Jorwal, after promotion, has been appointed DIG (Law and Order), Panchkula.
  • Manbir Singh has been posted as DIG, Police Training College, Sunaria in Rohtak.

Siddharth Dhanda has been given additional charge of ERSS, Panchkula.
