In a recent reshuffle within the Haryana state administration, senior IAS officer Vineet Garg, a 1991-batch officer, has been entrusted with additional responsibilities.
Mr Garg, who is currently serving as the Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) for Higher Education and Chairman of the Haryana State Pollution Control Board, will now also hold the charge of ACS for Animal Husbandry and Dairying during the leave period of Vijay Singh Dahiya.
Garg’s expanded role comes as part of the state government’s strategic adjustments to ensure continuity in key administrative functions during Dahiya’s absence.
Meanwhile, in another important move, Renu Sogan, an IAS officer from the Haryana 2019 batch, has been transferred and appointed as the Additional Secretary – Grievances. Sogan, who has been serving as the Commissioner of the Municipal Corporation in Manesar, Haryana, will now focus on enhancing the state’s grievance redressal mechanism. Her new role will be crucial in addressing public complaints and ensuring efficient administrative responses to citizen concerns.
These changes reflect the Haryana government’s ongoing efforts to optimize administrative efficiency and align officers to roles where they can best utilize their expertise.
