Saraikela: A new and promising chapter has begun in the healthcare system of Kolhan Division with the inauguration of Netaji Subhas Medical College & Hospital in Adityapur, Saraikela-Kharsawan district. The formal ceremony was held on Friday afternoon, with Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren and Health Minister Irfan Ansari presiding over the event. The Chief Minister lauded the institution, calling it a game-changing initiative for the youth of the region and a significant milestone in enhancing healthcare education and services in Kolhan.

A Historic Moment for Kolhan Division

The inauguration event commenced around 1:20 PM, with a warm reception for the Chief Minister, including the national anthem and traditional welcome rituals. M.N. Singh, Chairman of the institute, welcomed dignitaries with bouquets and felicitations.

Addressing the public gathering, CM Hemant Soren described the day as historic for Kolhan, stating that the dream of establishing a high-standard medical college in Saraikela has now become a reality. He highlighted that the institution will not only provide quality medical education but also train doctors dedicated to serving society generation after generation.
